Most of these guides are done by our customers, if at any point you have questions/concerns please contact Nathan @ (352)238-6388 and he can help you through it.

If you would like to add your guide please email us sales@LEDGauges.com - we pay $20 for any guide we receive and POST ON HERE.

We have a nice 1 piece kit with the ignitors inside the ballasts. the ballasts are much smaller than most other kitsI which work out nice.

It was all pretty straight foward.

You can use the seals, if you want to drill a hole. If not just run the wires in through the sealed part, no drilling is necessary just optional.

First I took off the backing of the headlights, drilled a 25mm (1") hole with a hole saw to install the lights.

Next I ran the wiring from the front under the windscreen UNDER the gauges and to the lights.

Placed the ballasts in the space behind the gauges and pull the wires tight so nothing would be hanging.

For other bikes where there is not enough room behind the gauges you can use double sided tape and mount the ballasts inside the fairings.

It's just as easy and hides them out of sight. They are waterproof and shock proof so they'll be fine anywhere.

After this I started the bike, instantly blew a fuse. Realized that since your using HID's that you need a bigger fuse.

I took the fairing off and replaced with a 30A fuse.

This won't happen with all bikes, but on most newer bikes.

The HID ballasts draw more power on start up, then run at 35W.

Also if you have HID for high and low beams and they don't turn on when you start the bike make sure the high beams are off.

The headlights are drawing too much power while the bike is trying to start so they may not come on.

This is the finished product.
